Our junior team made history yesterday, being the first Fanahans team to take part in a munster competition.They met Ballyagran in their first round game. We started of very well going in a half time leading 1 – 9 to 0 – 3.
In the second half, Ballyagran came out all guns blasting, and with 10 minutes to go, they had reduced the difference to 1 point.
But Fanahans regained their composure and got back to scoring, retaking control of the game, finishing out winning by 4 points 2-13 to 2-9
